Job Description
This listed Bank is looking for a strong individual to take up the Senior Internal Auditor role to execute audits, develop and maintain audit programmes, plan, do fieldwork etc.
Qualifications:
B.Com Honours Internal Auditing
CIA – Non negotiable
Min 5 years’ internal audit experience in the Financial Services sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifying and prioritising key business risks and relevant compensating controls.
Developing, managing and executing risk-based internal audit reviews.
Preparing flow charts of systems and business processes.
Planning audits, i.e. developing audit scope and objectives.
Executing audit programmes within specialised business units such as Treasury and/or Credit.
Working closely with third party co-sourcing audit providers.
Preparing audit findings and developing recommendations.
