.Net/ C# Software Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an Intermediate .Net / C# Software Developer.

• Must have deep expertise with development using Microsoft .NET.

• Must know .NET remoting, Enterprise Services, Web services, MSMQ, and how to use them through WCF

• Must be able to implement scalable / high performance solutions

• The ideal candidate must know that TDD really means "write the test first" and must know how to use mocks, dependency injection, coverage and other metrics

• Should know how to read code, not just write code, and refactoring

• Must be prepared to do what it takes to deliver value to the customer

• Must be able to work with others in an environment that encourages new ideas and improvement

• Must have experience using a source control tool other than VSS

The following skills and experience are required:

• Two to three years' experience Microsoft .NET Framework development with C#

• Solid knowledge of SOA and OO principles, design patterns and component oriented design

Essential technologies:

• .Net 3.0 (WCF, WWF, WPF)

• Enterprise Services and MSMQ

• ASP.Net and Web Services

• Visual studio 2008 and/or 2010

• SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures

• ASP.Net, HTML, Jscript, JQuery, CSS;

• XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD;

Advantageous techniques:

• Agile and test driven development

• Automated build

• Experience in mobile implementations

• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects

• Ability and desire to become part of a skilled and dynamic team
