Job Description

a Johannesburg based digital agency looking for a passionate person who loves what they do to join our team as a Web Designer/Web developer.

You would need to craft killer Website designs along with managing the front end development.

You’d need to build and support various Content Management Systems mainly with Wordpress, but also ExpressionEngine and Drupal, and you should have a good, solid knowledge of XHTML, CSS and Javascript and Javascript frameworks.

If you have experience in PHP and MySQL or Flash Actionscript two and three that would to your advantage.

Requirements

Design skills:

2 to 3 years experience with

Photoshop

Fireworks

Illustrator

Front End:

2 to 3 years experience

Well versed with XHTML, CSS and Javascript (and Frameworks e.g. jQuery, MooTools, YUI etc)

Experience with cross-browser compatibility

Knowledge of semantic HTML and experience implementing search engine optimisation techniques

Content Management Systems:

WordPress, ExpressionEngine, Drupal, Joomla etc

Advantageous

Tablet interface design experience

HTML5

Flash

PHP5
