Water / Roads Engineer - PE

Job Description

A large firm in Port Elizabeth is looking for a Roads/Water Engineer to provide guidance on the preliminary and detailed design of roads, storm water and township infrastructure, CAD drafting, road pavement design, compliance with the ISO Quality System, measurement of quantities, assist in preparation of tender documents. This may include some assistance on CAD, quantity estimation, preparation of scheduling of quantities and tender documents.

The Engineer will also take project leader responsibilities.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Performing and checking detailed design in accordance with appropriate standards and specifications.

Construction drawings of required standard.

Ensure that the drawings comply with the ISO quality system.

Site investigations.

Proposals and Reports.

Minimum Requirements:

BSc Civil Engineering

8 - 10 years experience

Water Treatment Processing experience

Sewer Treatment Design & Management experience

Water Design experience

PR Eng preferable
