Vice President: Geology

Job Description

A major gold mining company is in search of a Vice President for their Geology team, to be based in Gauteng.

Candidates applying for this position must possess a BSc Hons. Geology (although preference will be given to those in posession of a MSc), as well as a minimum of 10 years open-pit gold mining experience, 3 of which should be managerial experience at a senior management level. Professional affiliation with a geological body is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsile in ensuring that exploration strategy, execution, operational mine geology, mineral resource modelling and reconcilliation is run at an exceptional level.
