Treasury Operations Specialist

Job Description

This International Mining Company is looking for a competent individual to take up the Treasury Operations Specialist position. Excellent experience to be gained!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the daily tasks related to domestic and international funds transfer settlement are undertaken in an effective and timely manner.

Ensure that treasury operations (including the settlement and confirmation of treasury transactions/instruments such as foreign exchange, money and capital markets) are undertaken in accordance with internal policies and procedures, external financial market requirements, and within strict timeframes.

Manage the daily cash forecasting process and work to constantly improve the process.

Working with the financial controllers, determine medium/long-term funding requirements for the Region.

Ensure treasury functions are performed in line with Group and Regional Treasury policies.
