System Analyst - SAP SD

Job Description

An International Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced SAP Systems Analyst with strong ABAP Development skills and equally strong SD skills. The ideal candidate will have proven IT analysis skills, strong problem solving skills and excellent oral and written communication skills for detailed business and system documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse current systems within SAP SD

• Conduct feasibility study for new applications and processes

• General system support – SAP SD and would include backup support for other modules as required

• Responsible for systems development life cycle aspects including systems analysis and design, development (planning and tracking), and testing

• Preparing proposals for approval by Business Analyst for stream

• Responsible for system maintenance and configuration management, as well as specialised support on development applications

• Development in ABAP would be required for SD and potentially other modules

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant 3 year post Matric qualification (preferably commercial or technically related degree or diploma)

• SAP training and certification may be considered instead of post Matric qualification.

• At least 3 years of relevant SAP development and systems analysis experience

• Minimum 3 years ABAP experience in one or more modules

• SAP SD experience preferable

• Proven IT analysis skills

• Strong Problem solving skills

• Appropriate oral and written communication skills for detailed business and system documentation
