Structural Engineer

Job Description

A great opportunity in the Cape Town office for a Structural Engineer to commence duties in the Building and Structures Sector as soon as possible

Main responsibilities:

Engineering design

Input into project management team work

Preparation of tenders

Contract administration

Minimum qualifications and experience:

BSc/BEng OR B-Tech Civil Engineering

Professional registration with ECSA;

Minimum of 8-10 years experience in structural buildings:

Reinforced concrete

Structural steel

Masonry

Structural experience other than in Buildings will be advantageous

Experience in Prokon design package

Site experience

Project management

Ability to liaise with Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Contractors
