Job Description
We are looking for a Solutions Architect in JHB that will work closely with our commercial team to close technology, pre-sales and solution design gaps as well as be able to take clients through our products and API's on a technical level.

Required Qualifications
• Ideally a technical degree, e.g. computer science or information systems
Technical Experience
• Good understanding of client / server mechanisms, Software As A Service (SAAS) and Cloud computing
• Good understanding of data exchange protocols (FTP, HTTPs, SOAP, MQ)
• Understanding of common data formats, e.g. XML, CVS, TEXT
• Functional understanding of Application servers (Oracle / MS / IBM / Tomcat / JBoss)
• Functional understanding of MS Windows, Linux/UNIX
• Basic experience in Project management
• Experience in system analysis, requirement documentation, interface design
• Presentation ability on technology architecture
Required experience
• System Analysis & documentation skills (2-3 years)
• System architecture (2-3 years)
• Past involvement in 2-3 major corporate IT projects
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project
