Job Description
My client is a highly innovative and dynamic company that provides wireless data solutions in the POS (point-of-sale) and Wireless VPN market spaces. They are looking for well skilled software developers to join their team!
Requirements:
BSc Computer Science, BCom Informatics degree or a similar 3 qualification is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical design and/or development role.
The ability to perform the technical analysis and software development necessary to build and integrate disparate applications, management systems and IT service platforms are key requirements.
A proven track record in an Internet Service Provider or Telecommunications environment would be an advantage.
Skills and abilities required:
Software design and development in at least Java, .Net or C# and one of Perl, Python or PHP.
Data analysis, data model design, and data processing
An understanding of business processes and business process improvement
Ability to analyse and solve technical problems
Ability to document complex systems
Experience functioning in both a project delivery and operation support environment is required.
Experience with OSS/BSS system design and development
A solid understanding of ISP systems and/or IP networking would be an advantage.
Web development skills in JSP or ASP would be advantageous
Experience with .NEetand Oracle would be advantageous
