Shaft & Construction Timberman

Job Description

An opportunity exists for an experienced Shaft & Construction Timberman. You must have Grade 12 or equivalent, a valid Blasting and On setter’s Certificate, Have obtained a Magazine Masters Certificate or be able to obtain one, minimum of 2 years relevant experience. You will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and construction of both mining and engineering infrastructure

• Plan, control, lead and organize repairs and breakdowns

• Accountable for proper discipline in his / her area of responsibility

• Adhere to Mines Health and Safety Code of Practice
