Senior Web Designer

Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a competent Web Designer for a fast growing Digital Agency in Randburg

You will be part of a driven and growing small agency based in Johannesburg and we'll expect you to contribute your knowledge and expertise to enhance our business and that of our client's. This position will allow you to work in the fast-growing digital space creating and evolving brands in the online space from websites to mobi sites, online advertising, social media and more.

Responsibilities

- Apply expert knowledge and experience in the design of innovative websites and digital applications, from concept to roll out.

- Responsible for creating and maintaining the quality of design throughout all phases of the project cycle.

- Actively manage own projects and team members where necessary.

Requirements

Minimum of two- three years' experience in Web design. Relevant / recognised degree or diploma or related discipline / work experience.

Strong knowledge of HTML (5), CSS (3)

Advantageous

Setup and deloy - CMS systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal

Experience with PHP, MySQL, javascript and jQuery

Experience developing for smart phone platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile7) is optional but a huge plus.
