Senior Resource Geologist

Job Description

A leading gold mine with operations based in Gauteng is in search of a dynamic Senior Resource Geologist.

Candidates must possess the following essential requirements: Minimum Bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Geology as well as registration with SACNASP, GSSA, and SAIMM.Experience within a global matrix model professional services environment would be advantageous.

The position will be based in Gauteng but would require site visits from time to time. The successful geologist would have had exposure to multiple commodities this includes: Au, Ni, Cu Pb, Zn, Fe, U, and PGM’s. Amongst other things, the successful person will be responsible for carrying out resource estimates, geostatistical studies, audits, due diligence studies, feasibility studies and technical reports.
