Senior Rail/Civil Engineering Designer/Technician

Job Description

We have a permanent position available in Johannesburg for a Senior Rail Designer who has experience in the production/design or review of feasibility and detailed design of rail projects, drawings and documentation.

Knowledge of quality management.

Experience in managing and providing technical guidance to junior staff, ability to prioritise/manage workload for self and others.

Excellent communication and report writing.

BSc, BTech or National Diploma in civil engineering, knowledge of Switch and Crossing software is essential.

Working knowledge of Bently RailTrack/InRail or MXRail Autodesk Civil 3d, Civil Designer, MicroStation or AutoCad. Advantage to have railway track Access Certificate.Work under pressure, good organisational/time management skills.

Valid drivers license.

ECSA registration recommended.
