Senior Project Engineer/Technologist

Job Description

An exciting vacancy exists for a Senior Engineer or Technologist to join the Roads and Development Division of a reputable consultancy in Durban.

Candidates should have a proven track record and 15 years post qualification experience with a BSc or BTech Civil, and be registered as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.

A minimum of 5 years must have been spent independently implementing projects from start to finish.

Technical competence in road design (preferably road pavements and rehabilitation) as well as stormwater design and significant experience in contract administration and management of construction monitoring teams is a requirement.

It is also expected that the candidate will have a good understanding of urban engineering services and knowledge of urban development processes (residential, industrial and commercial).
