Senior Java Developer / Architect

Job Description

A South African Telecoms Company, with branches all over South Africa is looking for a Senior Java Developer/Architect to take their development to new technological levels! This position is situated in the CBD of Cape Town, and offers a fantastic opportunity within a great company!

Qualifications:

BSc in Computer Science/Information Systems

Knowledge in:

Servlets, EJB 3, JDBC, JMX, JMS, JTA, JTS, JCA, JAAS, JCE

Web Service, XSLT, JSP (Java Server Pages), JSP Custom Tags

JSTL (Java Standard Tag Library), EL (Expression Language)

Application Servers, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, JRun,

BEA Weblogic, Sun One J2EE , Struts

Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce code, in accordance with client, system and technical specifications

Develop according to clients specifications

Design and Development of Java Web Applications

Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing Java applications

Maintenance and support of Java Applications
