Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

A reputable Consulting firm has a vacancy for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Pietermaritzburg.

The job involves undertaking geotechnical investigations for a variety of projects, commercial and residential, linear developments, dams, tunnels and lateral support. Design experience is essential. Must have good communication and report writing skills. Be able to prepare proposals and general marketing. Mentorship of junior staff. Qualifications: PrEng, BSc or BEng (Civil) with post graduation geotech engineering an advantage with 10 - 15 years appropriate experience. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be prepared to work in the field and travel both locally and internationally. Valid drivers license.
