Senior Flash Developer

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to work closely with the existing team to develop industry leading and innovative web and digital solutions for top SA and International brands and to build excellent working relationships with team members and clients.

The company is looking for the very best Flash Developers who want the freedom to work on the very best projects and brands.

Responsibilities

• Apply expert knowledge and experience in the development of innovative flash based websites and digital applications, from concept to roll out.

• Actively manage own projects and team members, including back-end developers, where necessary.

• Develop and mentor junior digital developers to a high level of competence.

• Active role in the quality control process for the studio.

Requirements

• Work experience:

• Three+ year's industry experience.

• Adobe Certification an advantage

Technical experience:

• Flash ActionScript 2 and 3

• 3D Software Packages - Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Blender

• Photoshop

• Dreamweaver

• Illustrator

Technical Understanding

• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of ActionScript 2 and 3

• Demonstrate hands on experience with Flash based 3D engines - Away3D, Alternativa and Papervision.

• Detailed understanding of Object Orientated Programming and MVC design patterns.

• Understands interaction and usability as a holistic field, including traditional websites, rich internet applications, mobile applications and gaming interfaces.

• Demonstrate effective understanding of technical advances and best practices.

• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of all technical aspects of the process.

Team interaction and management

• Demonstrate outstanding professional demeanour that inspires team members and peers.

• Work together with, and support the project lead across all projects, and become an integral part of the team.

• Ensure you are aware of all deadlines and schedules.

• Work closely with the various teams during lifecycle of the project.
