Senior Consultant – Mining Engineering

Exciting new mining position in Vancouver!

Hire Resolve is seeking a Senior Mining Engineering Consultant that has a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and a minimum of 10 years mining engineering experience encompassing aspects from exploration through to financial evaluation of mining and mineral projects. The successful candidate should also be a member of APEGBCS as well as a high level of computer literacy and specific technical software skills appropriate for the Mining discipline (eg. Mine optimisation and design packages, spreadsheet & word processing, scheduling and cash flow modelling) It is also essential to be an open pit metal mine engineer with advanced skills in mine optimization, mine design, mine scheduling and costing and experience in ventilation, shaft sinking, backfill design and asset. Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to delivering consulting services to clients of the highest technical and professional quality, undertake strategic analysis of mining companies and projects, present operation optimisation solutions for management of projects and develop surface or underground mine designs to suit project economics.
