Senior Civil Engineer (Water Sector)

Job Description

A vacancy exists for a Professional Civil Engineer / Technologist to fill a Senior Management Position in Cape Town.

Main Responsibilities :

Business development and client liaison

Project management of water projects

Water infrastructure design and tender documentation

Technical and business management including development of business plans, budget and income control

Operational management and development of employees in the unit

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

PrEng or PrTech (Civil Engineering)

Minimum 10 years experience in water engineering field and specifically the design and project management of water projects

Proven track record in business development and success in generating business from both the public and private sectors with an understanding of both environments

Management experience at a strategic level with good technical knowledge and experience

Must be able to network with relevant stakeholders at a senior level
