Senior Civil Engineer (Management position)

Job Description

Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist required to fill a Senior Management Position.

Main Responsibilities include: Business development and client liaison, Project management of Transport projects,

Road planning, design and tender documentation, Technical and business management including business planning, development, budget and income control, Management and development of employees in the unit

Qualifications, and Experience required:

•BSc/BTech Civil Engineering, post graduate qualification preferable

•Professionally registered

•Minimum 10 years experience (BSc) or minimum 15 years experience (BTech) in the transportation field, specifically in the planning, design and supervision of National, Provincial and Municipal Roads

•Proven track record in business development and success in generating business from both the public and private sectors with an understanding of both environments

•Management experience at a strategic level with good technical knowledge and experience

•Must be able to network with relevant stakeholders at a senior level

•Fluent in English, written and oral

•Fluency in Zulu will be advantageous
