Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

Senior Business Analyst required to join one of South Africa’s largest re-retailing groups in Cape Town. You will be required to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment for this multi-national organization.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess an understanding in the areas of user experience, application development, and database and system architecture

Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other

Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems

Suggest areas for improvements in internal processes and possible solutions

Experience in data modeling (preferably), business process modeling and business object modeling

Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management

Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction

Responsibilities include:

Integrate business and technical requirements

Source most appropriate technology

Understands and identifies the business issues and suggests areas of improvements

Reviews requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution

Leads testing efforts

Strong customer focus

Deliver informative, well organized presentations

Communicates needed changes to development team and applies project standards
