Job Description
Are you an experienced PHP Developer interested in working for a well-established Cape Town based company? This could be the job for you!
Required Experience:
• B.Sc. Computer Science or similar
• 5+ Years of experience in Software Development
• Programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Programming libraries and frameworks: Symfony, Zend Framework, Bootstrap, jQuery,
• Software: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Tools: SVN, Git, Composer
• Search: SOLR, Elasticsearch
• Server and Infrastructure Management: Ubuntu, AWS, Windows Server
• Experience in the following will be important:
• Building and maintaining secure web systems
• Building and maintaining scalable web systems, both from concurrent users but also heavy data processing
• Building and maintaining web systems which have considered I18N
• Subject to clear criminal & Reference checks.
