SAS Quantitative Analyst

Job Description

One of the well-recognised management consulting firms based in the North of Johannesburg is in search for a SAS Quantitative Analyst to be part of their companies consulting for reputable companies within South Africa.

Requirements:

Mathematical related degree

At least 3-5 years quantitative analysis or modelling experience

Competent in SAS and Visual Basic

Credit risk background

Banking exposure preferable

Duties

Compilation of model build and business requirement documentation

Development and implementation of various models for clients across different sectors and industries

Optimising current SAS code frameworks

Development, implementation, optimisation and calibration of risk management models (Basel II regulatory capital models, scorecards) for clients
