SAP Technical Business Analyst / IT Project Manager

Job Description

We are urgently looking for a SAP Technical Analyst/IT Project Manager for a six month contract based in Cape Town. The position will initially entail fulfilling business analysis and project management requirements covering three distinct streams of SAP solutions, business partner master data, customer-facing, self-service web applications (e-Services) and customer service related SAP CRM call centre applications.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver information technology solutions for complex business processes and problems.

• Ensure project compliance with internal governance requirements, for example in the recording of a project initiation document, documentation of a project charter, documentation of requirements, specifications, test scripts, training manuals, etcetera and close out reports.

• Resourcing for and management of project requirements, scope, resources, testing, change and delivery of solutions against allocated budgets.

• Convening and conducting all meetings, workshops and training sessions necessary to deliver solutions and ensure user acceptance of those solutions.

• Maintaining Steering Committee engagement and managing stakeholders and expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Appropriate, recognised, formal Business or Information Systems qualification.

• 5 years’ IT experience with a minimum of 3 years in IT technical business analysis, project management and solution delivery.

• Knowledge of business analysis, process design and project management methodologies

• Strong skills with Microsoft productivity products, including Office, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.

• Organisation, time and people management skills.

• Stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to focus on and control scope and expectations.

• Understanding of change management processes and requirements and the ability to manage delivery of change management.

• Managing the design, development and implementation of IT solutions, preferably SAP-based.

• Knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle, preferably compliant with ISO 9001 standards, executed within an ITIL-compliant framework.

• Expert knowledge of the project lifecycle and management of project knowledge areas
