SAP Portal Developer

Job Description

This large consulting firm is urgently looking for a SAP Portals Developer. The position requires an experienced developer who is able to install, configure and maintain the Portals component of SAP Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design of internal facing and external facing integration solutions with SAP Portal development

• Provide on-going development and systems support in the SAP Portal environment for the SAP HR and SAP Knowledge Centre

• Maintain and complete problem resolution with existing processes

• Development, Maintenance and Enhancement quality ABAP and portal objects

• Ensure integrity and delivery of data from the source systems to the target systems

• Liaise with users, business analysts and supporting staff

Qualifications and Experience:

• A formal Degree/Diploma either in Information Technology, Engineering or Business and/or appropriate vendor certifications or experience

• 4-6 years of SAP HR ABAP experience and SAP HR Project implementation

• 3-5 years of SAP Portal development tools such as ABAP and Java Web Dynpro, Guided procedure, Visual Composer

• Good knowledge for both ABAP and Java programming languages

• ESS and MSS

• Experience in financial/insurance industry would be advantageous
