Job Description

One of Africa’s largest food retailers is currently looking for a SAP HR Functional Analyst for a position based in Brakenfell. This position requires a Candidate who is able to take requests for change raised by the Business and produce efficient solutions making use of SAP standard functionality, ensuring the solutions are developed according to the development standards within the IT department.

Responsibilities:

• Development Functions:

 Oversee full SDLC management within area of responsibility

 Compilation and sign-off of BRS for each task allocated

 Compilation and sign-off of functional and technical specifications where required

 Configure the SAP HR system business requirements within area of responsibility

 Oversee ABAP/custom development required to deliver solution

 Create complex configurations within area of responsibility

 Document configurations done in accordance with set IT standards

 Prepare test scripts and conduct Unit Testing

 Coordinate performance, system and integration testing

 Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

 Ensure delivery of changes to production according to set IT standards.

• Support Function:

 Ensure incidents raised within area of responsibility are resolved within the applicable SLA

 If software changes are required ensure that these changes are applied using the full SDLC above as a development function

 Assist users within area of responsibility with queries and issues they may experience ensuring that all software changes required are raised as development tasks according to the standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• SAP HR Consultant Certification - ESSENTIAL

• 3 Year Diploma or Degree in Information Systems - Desirable

• 2 - 5 Years’ experience as a Functional Analyst in the SAP HR environment – ESSENTIAL

• Knowledge of applications development methodologies and tools used.

• Knowledge and understanding of the application system environment

• Understanding system and program requirements
