SAP BI - Business Process Manager

Job Description

A Dynamic company based in JHB is in need of a creative and experienced SAP Business Process Manager. This position requires knowledge and experience within the SAP BI/BW environment and an understanding of multiple SAP Functional Areas. Qualifications and Experience:

• BI Certified (by SAP is preferable)

• Candidate requires an understanding of the following SAP Functional Areas:

o FI/CO

o MM

o CS

o SD

o HR

o CFM

o Authorisations

o Project Systems

• In excess of five years’ experience working in a BI Project Leader or Management role

• Must be familiar with 3.5 data sources/info sources

• Knowledge of the SAP Portal

• ABAP knowledge

• Knowledge of DSO’s, Cubes, Multi-providers, Info-sets, Virtual Cubes and Virtual Key Figures

• Working knowledge of Analysis Process Designer (APD)

• ABAP coding and debugging skills, code performance tuning and general trouble shooting skills in BW

• Understanding of Data Bases and the management thereof

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Strong knowledge and application of testing strategies and methodologies

• Implementation of OSS notes

• In depth experience in BW BEX/Analyser and Web Application Designer design and development

• Knowledge of standard BW content and how to activate and implement

• Knowledge of BW Administrator Workbench

• Transportation of BW developments and objects

• Understanding of data integrity

• Ability to effectively transfer knowledge to others as required through formal and informal training
