Riggers – Engineering Services – Workshops

Job Description

A leading company in Limpopo Province seeks Riggers with Engineering Services and Workshops experiences.

The main function of the role is to assist all surface departments in rigging related tasks which includes breakdowns, shutdowns and repair work. Responsibilities will include Maintenance and inspections on all rigging and lifting equipment; Legal inspections on elevators, overhead and mobile cranes; Ensuring that cranes, elevators are in good working condition; Drawing up of rigging lifting plan on every task; Controlling maintenance spares, PPE and consumables; Mechanical splicing of steel wire rope; Performing all lifting tasks safely; General lifting and moving of loads safely in the Smelter environment.
