Reporting Specialist - Accounting / Tax

Job Description

This leading mining company is looking for a Reporting Specialist - Accounting / Tax.

Responsibilities:

Understanding and Reporting of various metrics related to income tax accruals, including explanation of effective tax rates and deferred tax changes.

Working with Tax Management, Controllers and business unit personnel to address their questions related to monthly tax accruals.

Responsible for selected SOX controls for the newly formed company.

Collaborate with Tax Compliance and Planning groups on income tax accrual matters.

Responsible for assisting with income taxes in corporate budgeting and long range planning efforts and explaining variances vs budget.

Responsible for coordination of consolidated reporting from foreign offices.
