A senior post has become available within a renowned and ever-growing pharmaceutical company for a Quality Assurance Manager.
Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
Holds a B.Pharm or relevant pharmaceutical degree
A minimum of 10 Years' pharmaceutical working experience
Must have worked in the capacity of Quality Assurance Manager for a pharmaceutical company
Qualification/training in Quality Systems Management (ISO)
Must have hands on product release experience
Experience in Quality Assurance Product Compliant
Experience in audits of external manufactures and distributors
Experience in Returns and Destructions
Knowledge of all aspects relating to the Quality Assurance of pharmaceutical products and FMCG products
Sound knowledge of packaging analysis / evaluation and in-process requirements / controls
Maintains and improves Quality Standards of the business through internal and external audits.
Evaluates and reports on audits, advises and recommends amendments / changes / adjustments / to systems and procedures.
Identifies and resolves quality problems, both internally and from outside suppliers, to ensure no negative impact on Customer Service levels.
Reports on and contributes actively to the quality improvement of existing products.
Performs final product release of all personal care, cosmetics and healthcare products
Ensures company retains ISO Certification
Co-ordinates and compiles all quality documentation
Manages the SOP's
Approves artwork of household products, personal care, cosmetics and healthcare products.
Performs Good for Sale Assessments for all new products (NPD’s) and Quality Assessments on all EPD’s.
Investigates the technical aspects of consumer complaints
Ensures appropriate communication of any significant risks to the business.
Performs Annual Product Quality Reviews on all Healthcare products in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provides GMP support and expertise to Supply personnel through Training.
Reviews performance of direct reports and ensures their training, development and motivation.
Manages changes arising from NPD/EPD processes
Oversees the activities in the Pharmaceutical distribution warehouse
