Project Engineer

Job Description

A leading Platinum mining company in the North West is in search of a Project Engineer.

As the Project Engineer you will be accountable for the design of systems and processes, legal appointee for project areas, manage projects on a day to day basis, and coordinating the work of all service providers related to engineering and construction to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and within prescribed specifications in the assigned operational area.

To qualify for this position you must possess a NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Engineering, as well as a GCC Mines and Works. Registered Professional Engineer will be advantageous, as is a project management qualification. Candidates must hold a Extensive experience in managing projects and have at least 6 years engineering / mining experience within a projects / maintenance environment with 3 years in a leadership role.
