If growth and stability in a permanent position is what you looking for, my client based in Gauteng is seeking a Procurement Manager who has vast experience within the Food Industry.

Qualifications:

• MBA or equivalent Degree

• 6 years business experience

• 4 years experience in purchasing/Buying

Responsibilities:

Formulate a commodity strategy for each commodity in the capital investment category, in close collaboration with the group supply chain and user functions.

Align each country’s procurement business plan with group strategy and business requirements and develop a detailed commodity procurement plan

Manage the implementation of the commodity strategies and procurement plans

Source commodities and optimize costs through appropriate sourcing mechanisms including system collaboration and participation

Negotiate and monitor master terms and conditions as well as supplier operations and service level contracts

Manage and measure key supplier relationships and performance in execution of contracts

Provide three year cost forecasts for each commodity

Measure performance against KPI’s and report regularly as required
