A Well- known FMCG Company is looking to employ a Process Technologist. Applicants must have a Diploma or B Tech in Food Technology, B.Sc. Food Science, 5 – 10 years in the food Industry, preferably on formulating of condiments and dry seasoning development. Good understanding of processing of condiments and dry blending essential. Previous product development or process experience in dry blending - seasonings, marinades, brines and coating systems. As well as wet products – emulsions, condiments, sweet sauces, hot and cold fill technology will be an advantage.
The successful candidate will will be responsible for Process development projects, for both dry and condiments plants, to support new product introduction, quality improvement of existing products, cost optimization of existing processes, as well as expanding the process technology knowledge base. Manage and conduct factory ‘scale ups’ and monitor first production runs with a strong understanding of the product commercialization steps.
