Job Description

Premium Admin Technical Specialist for large Insurance firm – Jhb - URGENT

• Analyse system logs and identify potential issues

• Assess each system log based on risk assessment

• Manage Risk

• Prioritise logs according to potential negative financial impact

• Explore and implement suitable temporary resolution in case of delayed delivery

• Business continuity planning

• Monitor the logging status of all Premium Admin logs

• Provide Business Requirement Documents for all new enhancements.

• Liaise with Business Analyst, Business Solutions, Project Team, Premium Admin and all relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate and assist with testing of new enhancements

• Responsible for sign-off of project logs

• Facilitate implementation of system changes

• Document all system changes and update SOPS accordingly.

• Ensures that technical controls are functioning as expected and report any significant discrepancies

• Monitor Premium Admin system by reviewing systems logs and suggest automated tools and / or additional checks and balances to minimize risk

• Manage user access, accounts and password controls. Regular audits to be done

• Compile progress and risk reports

Qualification:

• Matric is essential

• Computer literacy: MS Word and Excel (advanced level) essential

• MS Powerpoint a requirement

• MS Access and / or SQL is an advantage

• Three years in an analytical and technical role

• Collection systems experience and knowledge a requirement

• Working experience in a project environment will be an advantage
