PrEng Structural Engineer

Job Description

A great opportunity exists for a Structural Engineer to commence duties in the Building and Structures Sector in Cape Town

Main responsibilities:

• Engineering design

• Input into project management team work

• Preparation of tenders

• Contract administration

Minimum qualifications and experience :

• BSc/BEng Civil Engineering

• Professional registration with ECSA;

• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in structural buildings:

• Reinforced concrete

• Structural steel

• Masonry

• Structural experience other than in Buildings will be advantageous

• Experience in Prokon design package

• Site experience

• Project management

• Ability to liaise with Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Contractors
