PHP Mobile Site Developer

Job Description

A Leading Publishing House is looking for a competent and passionate PHP Mobile Site Developer to join their dynamic Pretoria based development team

Requirements:

2-4 years professional experience

Excellent PHP skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

MySQL knowledge

HTML/CSS knowledge

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of design and implementation for mobile browsers

2 to 3 years professional experience

Linux experience (working with LAMP systems)

SVN (Subversion)

Performance tuning (code enhancements, sql optimization, caching systems, configuration of applications, etc)

SOLR/Lucene knowledge

Duties:

Development of server-side scripts

Development of server-side functionality of mobile websites

Implementation of client-side design of mobile websites

Maintenance of existing systems
