Occupational Health and Hygiene Superintendent

Job Description

One of the major players in mining is in search of an Occupational Health and Hygiene Superintendent.

Candidates who wish to apply for this position must have an Advanced Chamber of Mines Certificate in Mine Environmental Control / Occupational Hygiene, as well as 8 yrs experience as an Occupational Hygienist, 3 of which should be at a managerial level. Good knowledge of SAP and computer literacy is essential.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing technical service and advice to various business units on mine ventilation systems, occupational health, hygiene programmes and medical surveillance issues affecting the operation.
