Occupational Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Job Description

A top mining company with operations based in Gauteng is in search of an Occupational Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join their expanding team.

Applicants must be in possession of an Advanced Certificate in Mine Environmental Control / Occupational Hygiene, COMSOC 1 & 2, Modern Safety Management, Mid Management Certificate, a Risk Management Diploma as well as a Lead Auditors Certificate. The minimum mining experience for this position is 7 years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance with the provisions of the Mine Health and safety Act and further relevant legislation, as well as implementing sustainable strategies that will lead the operation in achieving its objectives.
