Mobile Web and Applications Developers

Job Description

Well known Publishing and Media house is looking for competent and passionate Mobile Web and Applications developers to join our dynamic Pretoria based development team.

Requirements:

Excellent PHP skills

LAMP stack

Knowledge of using MySQL, XML over HTTP APIs, HTML,

JavaScript and CSS Skills

Knowledge of design and implementation of Websites for Mobile devices

Knowledge of design and implementation of Mobile Applications

Be familiar with JQuery Mobile, Phone Gap or similar frameworks

Excellent problem solving skills

Good communication and a team player

2-4 years professional experience

Advantages:

iOS, RIM, J2ME

Android development skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Development of server-side API's (JSON/PHP/etc.)

Development of mobile applications (Apple iPhone/iPad, BlackBerry, Android, J2ME) using API's for back-end transacting

Development of .mobi websites for mobile devices

Maintenance of existing systems
