Job Description
Hire Resolve is representing a Coal Mining company in its search for a competent Mining Geologist. This role is responsible for the implementation of Geological Management Systems, and advising and consulting with Mine Managers and the Management team on all Operational Geology issues.
Qualifications:
This role requires a B.Sc Hons degree in geology, minimum of 5 years Mining experience.
Be registered with a professional institute
Medical Certificate of Fitness
Opencast and Underground geology experience will be advantageous.
Candidate must have experience in borehole database management, background understanding of sedimentary depositions, background understanding of geophysical wireline logging, knowledge of Minex, Sable-Gbis software packages.
