Mine Engineering Manager

Job Description

One of the top mining houses with operations based in Mpumalanga is looking for a Mine Engineering Manager to join their team.

Minimum requirements for this position:

• BSC Eng / B.Eng / Higher Diploma in Engineering

• Government Certificate of Competency in Mines and Works

• Registered as Pr.Eng

• Post Graduate qualification recommended

• 10 years experience as an Engineer on a mine of which at least 5 must be in appointed Engineer position, 5 years

of which managerial experience

• Experience in Project Management is recommended

The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the total engineering and maintenance function of the Complex according to Company policies and procedures with a focus on optimising asset performance, managing and improving equipment life cycle cost, financial management as well as management of Capital project pipe line.
