Mid Level PHP Developer

Job Description

A Cape Town-based agency and online publishing operation that is growing rapidly and expanding their development team! They are looking for a PHP guru to assist on the various projects. They like people who are “can do”, who work quickly and want to make reputations for themselves in the industry.

Requirements:

PHP 5+

Database development using MySQL and SQL Server

Basic understanding of Linux command line and shell scripting

At least 2-3 years experience

AJAX/Advanced JavaScript and DOM model engineering, both with and without the assistance of frameworks

XHTML / CSS styling and page layout

Must have experience working with Wordpress. Some Drupal experience would be a big plus.

These skills would be a big plus:

Design skills

J2me, Android or Objective C
