Job Description
A leading metallurgical and processing company in the mining sector requires a Mineral Processing Manager to join their team in Gauteng.
The person appointed will be required to manage the Division with respect to service delivery, research planning,
marketing, administration, and Quality, Environment and Safety (QES). Key performance areas include developing and executing strategies, short and long term, to ensure profit growth, increase market share and cost containment within the Division. Identify areas of national and local need and develop appropriate new work opportunities for the Division and align these plans with the company's long-term policies and plans.
Applicants interested in this position must have a a BSc Eng in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or BSc (Hons) relating to mineral processing. An MSc or PhD will be an added advantage. At least 8 years’ experience in advanced Technology Development in the area of mineral processing and preferably in a Commercial/R&D laboratory environment, of which at least 5 years should have been in a Senior Management position.
