A well-known Mining firm is seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to join their team in the Governance Assurance Division. The purpose of this position is to take up a leadership role and provide direction within enterprise risk systems management and responsible for the design, implementation and management of the enterprise risk management systems including strategies, policies and procedures, and ensuring the ability to meet legal and business requirements in the areas of enterprise risk management, business continuity management and applicable corporate governance. Develop & implement Risk, Business Resilience and Combined Assurance management strategies; policies and procedures.Establishment of risk management philosophy and culture.Facilitate pro-active identification and assessment of risks.Provide direction to business in developing risk mitigation plans.Risk Monitoring and Evaluation. Independent assessments within pre-determined parameters and plans. Highlight key threats and opportunities during strategic management activities.Foster culture and philosophy of risk within organisation.Provide direction on the insurance philosophy of the company.
