Management Accountant

Job Description

This Manufacturing Client seeks a CA (SA) or CIMA Candidate to take up the Management Accountant that will be responsible for the management reporting of the Business Unit. Also responsible for the budgeting and forecasting and supports the operational function in costing analysis and management information needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain product costing through plant accounts.

Preparation and analysis of monthly costs and a variance analysis including management packs.

Providing information to the corporate office to facilitate group management reporting.

Preparation of annual budgets and frequently updating forecasts.

Effective management of the management accounting team.

Provision of ad hoc analysis and advice as required.

Contribution to ongoing finance process improvements and enhancement of management information.
