K4 SAP MM/WM Master Data Consultant

Job Description

One of South Africa's premier SAP Master Data Solution providers is urgently looking for a SAP Master Data Consultant with MM/WM experience to join both their Johannesburg and Cape Town Teams. This can be on either a contract or permanent basis (candidates preference).

Responsibilities:

Blueprint

• Blueprint current data processes & ownership, flow of data and issue resolution.

• Investigate Data Roles and controls (Business aspect of Authorizations).

• Investigate any Data migration requirements or clean-up requirements.

• Work with Training, EWM and Retail Consultants to ensure data space is known, documented and plans are in place for cut over.

• Build a Governance Framework with the Company to explain how data should be managed & governed in future.

• Propose any SAP applications for Data if required.

• Wrap up blueprint and document.

Realisation

• Build Migration/extension plans. Ensure data migration team is in place.

• Work with training to ensure data training is in place.

• Ensure Clean-up process is in progress.

• Ensure any data collection for missing data is in progress.

• Spec any developments required for data and submit to ABAP team.

• Plan detail cut over steps.

• Test any developments and release transports.

• Ensure Migration happens on time.

• Cut over.

• Go-live with Business Data users (You are there to support them.)

• Support.

• Start building plans for Data Audits, Business Rules checks and long term process controls.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3-year IT-related degree or diploma

• At least 5 years’ relevant experience
