Junior ABAP Programmer

Job Description

We are urgently looking for a Junior SAP ABAP Programmer with some previous experience to join this large Retailer. The main purpose of this position is to develop and maintain ABAP programs and functions and to provide support to fellow team members as well as offer support to Business users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and support ABAP programs and functions

• Program designs from logical and physical specifications

• Documentation of programs

• Investigate, analyse and document reported defects

• Do Unit Testing of new programs

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3-year IT-related degree or diploma

• 1 - 2 years relevant ABAP programming experience

• Standard SAP ABAP programming (12 Months experience)

• Skills in Dialog Programming (12 months), SAP Script, Object Oriented ABAP, SmartForms, Business Server Page Programming, creating programs that read and write XML files

• MS Office skills are desirable
