Java Software Engineer

Job Description

A large player on the South African financial scene is looking for candidates from a background in Java financial development

Qualifications:

BSc Degree (Comp Sci / Elec / Software Eng)

OO analysis and design using UML

Swing

Web Development (HTMP, JSP, XML)

Database (SQL development, JDBC)

Ability to compile clear and concise design documents

J2EE application development (JBoss or WebSphere)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce quality code that is well documented, and in accordance with system and technical specifications

Develop according to clients specifications

Design and Development of Java Applications

Development of new database driven Java Applications

Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing Java applications

Maintenance and support of Java Applications
