Java Developer

Job Description

Calling on Cape Town Java Developers who will be responsible for designing and implementing Java/JEE-based financial software solutions including EJB based business logic and data access components. You will be capable of proposing and documenting software design, analyzing requirements, and presenting implementation options through the use of design diagrams and wireframes. You will also be responsible for hands-on development and promoting best practices for both object-oriented design and development.

Minimum Requirements:

BSc Degree

Demonstrated strong communications skills (internal and external to the group).

Demonstrated strong teamwork skills leading small technical teams.

Strong object oriented design and development skills in Java.

Strong problem solving skills

Experience in Java Frameworks Java Server Pages (JSP), Struts, JDBC-SQL, Servlets, Java beans, TCP/IP, Sockets, HTTP, RMI, XML, Java Messaging/Transaction Services (JMS/JTA/JTS), Enterprise Java Beans (EJB).

Hands on approach to identifying and optimizing existing codes and resolving bugs
